Before opening my own practice, I worked within AmLaw 100 firms, where my experience spanned corporate governance, securities law, bankruptcy, and litigation, including advising companies operating in Las Vegas. I assisted clients in navigating complex SEC regulatory requirements tied to capital formation and investment activities, providing support on public and private offerings such as initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and private placements. I also worked on bankruptcy matters and civil litigation, gaining experience in both restructuring and dispute resolution, which strengthened my ability to approach legal issues from both a transactional and litigation perspective.
That background now allows me to bring big firm sophistication with small firm attention to every client I serve. My practice also includes advising companies in the entertainment industry, where I assist with business structuring, regulatory compliance, and contractual matters. I have also worked with individual talent and models to protect and control the use of their name, image, and likeness, ensuring their rights are secured and their brand is properly managed. I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University–Idaho in 2017, and my J.D. from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona in 2020. While in law school, I served as President of both the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and the Business Law Society, competed in Fegtly Moot Court, and was honored with Dean’s List recognition and the George C. Dix Scholarship.
Away from the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, kayaking, and playing board games with my wife and our five kids. If raising five children has taught me anything, it is patience, negotiation, and the importance of having a solid plan, legal or otherwise.
